You are supposed to exfoliate, but knowing what to use, why, and how often can be baffling.
Choosing a natural skin care exfoliant free of drying sulphates is ideal for clearing away dead skin cells, softening, and refining all skin types and concerns.
Many scrubs use jagged nutshells and synthetic plastic beads that can cause micro-tears or harm marine life.
When dead skin cells accumulate, this can lead to a rough, bumpy texture, blackheads, premature fine lines, and dullness. Exfoliation reveals new, smoother cells and triggers an increase in cell turnover, plus paves the way for the rest of your natural skin care products to work best.
The frequency depends on your skin type - those with dry, sensitive, and thin skin will benefit from exfoliating once a week, whereas those with thicker combination, oily, and acne-prone skin can exfoliate two or three times a week.
Tips to enhance your Pevonia skin care routine:
Add in the Enzymo-Spherides Peeling Cream once a week, followed by your favorite Pevonia mask, to get the next best thing to Pevonia treatments.
As the cell turnover rate slows all over, use a natural body scrub, like the Silky Skin Body Scrub or De-ageing Saltmousse Papaya-Pineapple in the shower a couple of times a week for smoother, glowing skin on the body.
